“We are at the full moon, the halfway point in our beloved Ramadan. I enter into each Ramadan with a prayer in my heart and ask for my true purpose to unfold more deeply in these rich days of self-discipline, community building, and remembering Allah.”
— Wendy Ibrahim, Demystifying Ramadan

“There is magic in turning one’s world upside down once a year for an entire month. It helps me hold more lightly the idea that there is only one right way to do things.”

“Dr. Ibrahim is an intelligent, engaging and gifted speaker, who is able to address groups of all ages and backgrounds with ease, grace, and a disarming sense of humor. She makes every audience feel instantly comfortable, by addressing pre-conceived stereotypes many people bring of Islam, and especially of women in Islam. This is precisely why I love having her come and speak. Even young college students who have no previous understanding of Islam feel comfortable asking personal questions like, “Why do you wear the hijab? What does it mean?” Dr. Ibrahim answers these and many more challenging questions head-on.”
— Rev. Dr. Linda Forsberg

“Wendy speaks in a way that as a Christian I can understand what she’s talking about and where she’s going with it and we can hold that Third Space together.”
— Kristi Burch, South Carolina
